My answer - paper, a bowl (large), a pencil, cooking oil (2 tsp.), water, butter or margarine, a plate, a bowl (small), a saucepan, a stove, a lamp, a lid from yogurt container (substitute a bowl), a knife, sticks, scrap cardboard or plastic, a baking pan, vinegar (You will want to buy at least a quart of this. Sorry, but we just can't ship it.), dishwashing liquid (1 drop), 2 plastic water or soda bottles, glass/plastic jar (pickle jar, peanut butter jar, etc.), ice, your choice of ingredients for ice cream (check text), recyclables from trash – wires, paper towel rolls, soda bottles, lids, etc.
That's it. Everything else is in the box! Other than maybe the vinegar, you most likely have the rest of the items already around your house. You will notice that some of the items must be salvaged from your household trash. Don't forget to start saving early. And don't forget that if you have several children sharing a book, you might want to purchase a 2nd Student Kit.
